Summer Slam is run by Assistant Coach Bob Mumma, and is open to players of all skill levels.  General skill instruction is given in all areas of the game including pitching, hitting, defensive play, and base running. Players get additional instruction for their primary position during the specialty sessions.  Special instruction is given in the areas of pitching, catching, infield play, and outfield play.

All equipment, except gloves, is provided.  Campers are encouraged to bring their own bats and helmets if they desire.  Please write player's name on all  equipment. Water is available on the field for all players, but players may bring their own water bottles. Concessions will be available for players and parents, where drinks, snacks, and dinner will be sold.

Video Analysis (Optional):  Summer Slam will offer campers a chance to receive a video analysis of themselves.  Campers may choose from one of three options:

  1. $20 - one skill analysis

  2. $30 - two skill analysis

  3. $45 - two skill analysis plus receive a copy of the video

Players may choose to pick one of the three options.  All video analysis will be done one on one with a coach.  A player will be video taped performing a baseball skill (hitting, fielding, pitching, etc.), and will be able to sit down with a coach and go through what they are doing correct and what they need to improve upon.  Each video analysis session will last approximately 5 to 10 minutes. If you choose the $45 option (analysis plus video)  at the end of your video will be your coach's comments taped so you can review their comments.

If you have any more questions about this option please contact Bob Mumma at 443-756-1025.
